Sari Dharam forms the foundational spiritual, cultural, ancient, and distinct identity of the Santal community. Our primary objective is to transmit this ancient religious heritage to present and future generations while ensuring its comprehensive preservation. We aspire for Santal youth to reconnect with their religious, social, and cultural roots, awakening their spiritual consciousness through the worship of Marang Buru, Thakurjiu, and nature. Through village workshops, cultural events, and educational programs, we are revitalizing the principles, rituals, and festivals of Sari Dharam.
Our efforts extend beyond religious practices to encompass the preservation of the entire Santal cultural ecosystem—including language, music, dance, traditional knowledge, and social structures. Utilizing digital platforms, publications, and community engagement, we are creating pathways to adapt this heritage to the modern era, ensuring Sari Dharam thrives not merely as a relic of the past but as a living tradition. Our ultimate goal is to empower the Santal community to take pride in their glorious heritage and establish Sari Dharam as a distinct and well-organized religion on the global stage.
